By installing and using Reel Caption AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Personal Information

  • Account Data: When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Firebase Authentication, we may collect your display name, email address, and user identifier (UID) to manage your profile and preserve your generated captions and credits across sessions.

  • User-Generated Content: Content such as Reel prompts, video topics, and captions that you create or save locally on your device or in your cloud account.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device & Usage Information: Information about your device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and general diagnostic logs to ensure smooth app performance.

  • Advertising Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID) used by third-party ad networks to serve appropriate ads and measure performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To generate creative video captions, hashtags, and hooks based on your input prompts.

  • To manage and synchronize your AI generation credits, daily check-in streaks, and creator mission rewards.

  • To serve non-intrusive advertisements (banners and rewarded video ads) that help keep core features free.

  • To monitor app stability, troubleshoot crashes, and optimize user experience.

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Reel Caption AI integrates with trusted third-party service providers that may collect information used to identify your device:

  • Google Play Services: Core Android framework functionality.

  • Google AdMob: To display banner and rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

  • Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore (Google LLC): For secure account sign-in and cloud synchronization of user credits and favorites.

  • Gemini API / Google AI: For processing prompts to generate creative caption and hashtag suggestions. We do not use your private personal data to train public foundation models.

4. In-App Ads & Rewarded Video Policy

Reel Caption AI strictly follows the Google Play Developer Program policies regarding advertising:

  • Rewarded video ads are 100% voluntary and opt-in. Users choose to view an ad in exchange for in-app credits or daily streak check-in bonuses.

  • We do not display deceptive ads, unexpected interstitial overlays during critical workflows, or disruptive full-screen ads.

5. Data Retention & Security

We adopt industry-standard data security practices:

  • Your generation history and favorites can be stored locally on your device or securely linked to your account via Google Cloud/Firebase.

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

6. Account & Data Deletion Rights

You have the right to access, export, or request deletion of your data at any time:

  • You can clear your locally saved captions directly within the app settings.

  • If you would like your account and associated cloud data deleted, please contact us at: pioneegroup@gmail.com. Your request will be fulfilled within 30 days.
